Tottenham ended their poor run of form against Arsenal in emphatic style to book their place in the Carling Cup final.

Looking for their first win over their rivals since 1999, Jermaine Jenas opened the scoring for Spurs, as he had done in the first leg. A Nicklas Bendtner own goal doubled the home side's advantage in the first half.

Robbie Keane and Aaron Lennon added a further two goals before substitute Emmanuel Adebayor came off the bench to score for Arsenal.

In the dying seconds, Steed Malbranque added to Tottenham's tally and put their place in next month's final beyond doubt.

Spurs will play the winners of Wednesday's match between Everton and Chelsea, with the final taking place on the 24th February at Wembley.
