Joe Cole scored the only goal of the game against Everton to put Chelsea through to the Carling Cup Final.

The Blues won 3-1 on aggregate and will now face London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley on 24th February.

Cole broke the deadlock on 69 minutes to break Everton fans' hearts.

Avram Grant's side put on an impressive display, with new boy Nicolas Anelka unlucky not to score just seconds in to the second half.

It was a well deserved victory that sees Chelsea progress to their third Carling Cup final in four years.
